Dr. Kenneth R. Bell

Dr. Bell is currently the Administrative Liaison to the General Overseer, Church of God International Offices. Prior to this position he served as Administrative Assistant to the State Overseer of Western North Carolina from 1989 to 1995.

Dr. Bell has also served the Church of God in other capacities as well over the past 25 years. Beginning in 1976 – 1978 he was a board member of the State Youth and Christian Education in Indiana as well as the District Overseer for Jeffersonville District. From 1988 to 1992, Dr. Bell was also a State Council Member of the Church of God in Western North Carolina.

Dr. Bell has held the position of Associate Pastor in the Valley View Church of God. Pastor, Church of God, Charlestown, Indiana, Senior Pastor, Royster Avenue Church of God, Shelby, North Carolina. In addition, Dr. Bell has served as Chaplain in the United States Air Force Reserves from 1983 to 1984 and Installation Staff Chaplain, North Carolina Air National Guard, 1984 to 1992 at the rank of Major.

In 1982 he received his Doctor of Ministry degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He has to date published two books. Creation to Christ: Old Testament Foundations, for the Church of God Ministerial Development Program 1992 and You and Your Church Instructor’s Guide, Pathway Press, 2000.
