Peniel’s approach works! Addictions are absolutely reversible. Unresolved conflicts, failures, peer pressure and coping in a pressure driven lifestyle greatly contribute to a person’s substance abuse. Our no nonsense approach has proven to change countless broken lives and families.

Peniel Drug/Alcohol Residential Center is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department Of Health, Office Of Drug And Alcohol Programs. We are a long-term treatment facility dedicated to maintaining a Biblical and permanent solution to addiction.

Individualized treatment plans explore causal factors and provide tools for sobriety which also highlight the client’s potential and strengths as well as expose weaknesses and negative personal living patterns.

In addition the Peniel Patented Bible Therapy Program is incorporated with individual counseling, a variety of weekly classes, as well as parenting classes, academic opportunities, community meetings, family therapy, group therapy, home visitation, recreational therapy and vocational therapy, all of which provide sobriety tools, character building, responsibility, work ethics and family restoration (to mention a few). This comprehensive plan when closely followed, will ensure absolute victory.

In addition to equipping each resident with the ability to maintain their sobriety and Christian lifestyle, they are being empowered to manage their immediate environment and to have a positive influence in their homes, churches and communities following completion of the program.

Our total abstinence based program also provides each resident with the opportunity to literally practice a drug-free Christian lifestyle in a professional and supportive setting, thus assuring the client of a successful re-entry into their home, church and society as a whole.
