Meet the Staff

Victoria Coleman

I was born and raised in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and have lived here all my life. I was the oldest of three children, with two younger brothers. I completed high school, married at the age of twenty three and had three beautiful children. I had a girl and two boys all born in December, each two years apart.

I later drank my way out of the marriage and after getting into recovery became a Registered Nurse and a single parent.

After ten years of being clean and sober, I had it all: a four bedroom house, a new car every two years, and my children going out on their own. A car accident led to surgery, physical limitations and inability to perform my RN job. The combination of medication and an unhealthy relationship felt like the answer at the time.

As an atheist, I had nothing to keep me from my self destruction. I had given up on life until March of 2006 when I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Through Christ and Peniel my life, family, and future have been restored. The “Joy of the Lord” is my strength.

I am fortunate to have recently joined the staff of Peniel as a Receptionist. I also have great hope for the future to give back to Peniel Praise Community Church, my family, and future generations.
