Pastor Stephen Mann

I am from Central Ohio, the father of four adult children and husband to Tonya Mann who is also a member of the staff and 2003 graduate of Peniel.
 I am retired from the U. S. Navy, serving onboard submarines for twenty-four years.  During my military career, I have traveled the world and lived in Hawaii for 10 years.

I have been a minister in the Church of God of Cleveland, Tn. since 2001.  Serving as a Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor, and Regional Men’s Ministry Board Member.

I am a member of the Peniel Praise Community Church and serve as an Assistant Pastor, and a member of the Peniel Praise Choir.

My wife and I are forever grateful to God for Peniel.  For over twenty years, my wife and I struggled with her mental illness and destructive behaviors.  We were faced with few options: committal to a state mental institution or death.  Then God used Peniel to save a life, a marriage, and a family.

Days once full of dread and despair, now are faced with hope and courage in the knowledge that nothing is impossible with God.
God has blessed my wife and I with the opportunity to help others who face similar life challenges.
